“I found a SUSE in my garden!” Gecko paparazzi January 21, 2007

These pictures are up-close-and-personal shots of “Gecko” the SUSE mascot, also known as the “SUSE lizard” the “SUSE Chameleon” or even the “Green Mean Machine.” These pictures are real and not faked (and ps. no animal was harmed in the making of this picture) (oh! more ps. these pictures were not in “my” garden, but my college campus garden.)
I’ve uploaded a collection of shots, and also made a couple of wallpapers, if you’re interested. I must say that Gecko is a little scary in person, looks cuter on the logo, but it sure is cool to see one of these amazing (rare and beautiful) creatures.

AS WALLPAPER (1024×768)
Note: Gecko is a chameleon (just in case some think that Gecko is another species).
ps. open source does not mean no credit, and so I must give credit to my colleague G.Korah who happened to have a camera while we witnessed this beauty and took these pictures.
these wallpapers are also hosted at http://www.kde-look.org.

Very nice shots. How about higher resolutions or more pictures?
